Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ManMode LLC, a California limited liability company ("ManMode", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit manmode.app (and the domains that redirect to it) or join the ManMode early access list. It also explains the privacy rights you have and how to use them.
Scope. This policy covers the website and the early access list only. The ManMode app is not available yet; it will have its own privacy policy, which we'll publish before the app launches.
The short version
- We collect very little: your name, email address and US mobile number if you join the list (plus whether you agreed to receive texts), your name, email and message if you contact us, and your country (worked out from your connection, never your precise location).
- We text you only if you tick the text-message box, and we never share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are off unless you accept them. Advertising features are turned off.
- We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@manmode.app.
Notice at collection
When you use this website or join the early access list, we collect the categories of personal information below, for the purposes listed. We do not sell or share (for cross-context behavioral advertising) any of it, and we do not collect sensitive personal information. For how long we keep each category, see How long we keep it.

1. What we collect and where it comes from
Information you give us.
- Early access list: your name, email address and US mobile number, and whether you ticked the box to receive text messages. With it we record the date and time you joined, the page you signed up from, your country (see below), which version of the sign-up notice and text-message wording you saw, and, if you opted in to texts, when you did.
- Contact form and email: your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
Information collected automatically.
- Country: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, tells us which country a request comes from, based on its IP address. We store only the two-letter country code with your sign-up. We do not store your IP address, browser or device details in our database.
- Technical data needed to run the site: like every website, our servers receive your IP address and basic request details (such as browser type) when you visit. Cloudflare uses them to deliver the site, keep it secure and limit abuse (for example, too many sign-up attempts from one connection). Cloudflare may keep short-lived logs of these details under its own retention practices.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate country, referring site, and device and browser type, using cookies on your device. See our Cookie Policy. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you haven't opted in, Google Analytics does not load at all.
We do not buy personal information about you from anyone, and we do not combine it with information from data brokers.
2. How we use it
- To send you a confirmation email when you join the list or contact us.
- To send you launch news and your early access invite, and to manage the list (including honoring unsubscribes).
- To send you text messages about the ManMode launch, only if you opted in (see Text messages below).
- To reply to messages and handle requests, including privacy requests.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and where interest comes from, so we can improve it (analytics only with your consent).
- To keep the site and list secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To comply with the law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Text messages (SMS)
If you tick the text-message box when you join the list, we'll use your mobile number to send you recurring automated marketing text messages about the ManMode launch and early access. Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of joining the list or of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing privacy@manmode.app. The full SMS terms are in our Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the service provider that delivers our text messages for us.
We haven't started sending text messages yet. Before we do, we'll name our text-message delivery provider in the table below.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and list, under contracts or terms that limit how they can use it, and only as needed for the purposes above:

We may also disclose information (a) if required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities; (b) to protect the rights, safety or property of ManMode, our users or others, or to investigate fraud or abuse; and (c) as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the information stays subject to the commitments in this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by California law. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use one strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice, and Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them. You can change your choice anytime with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. Details, including a full list of cookies, are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, and we keep Google Analytics off by default. The cookie banner will tell you that it detected the signal. You can still choose to turn analytics on through Cookie Settings; we only do so if you click Accept.
Do Not Track (DNT). There is no common standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track browser signals, so our site does not change its behavior when it receives one. Analytics stays off unless you accept it, and we honor GPC as described above. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across other websites through our site for advertising.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your California privacy rights
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), gives you these rights. We extend the same rights to everyone, wherever you live.
- Right to know and access: to ask what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, our purposes, the categories of third parties we disclose it to, and a copy of the specific pieces of information we hold.
- Right to delete: to ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct: to ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we don't sell or share personal information, but you can still tell us not to, including by using Global Privacy Control.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we don't collect sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to limit.
- Right to non-discrimination: we won't deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a different quality of service because you used any of these rights.
8. How to use your rights
Send your request by email to privacy@manmode.app or through our contact form. Tell us which right you want to use and the email address your request is about.
Verification. To protect your information, we verify requests before acting on them. Usually we'll do this by sending a message to the email address the request is about and asking you to confirm from that address. If we can't verify a request, we'll tell you why. We use any information you give us for verification only for that purpose.
Authorized agents. You can have someone else make a request for you. We'll ask the agent for your signed permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly or confirm that you gave the agent permission, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney.
Timing. We'll confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to another 45 days), we'll tell you why. Requests to opt out are handled as soon as possible and within 15 business days. Requests are free; if a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, we may decline it or charge a reasonable fee, and we'll explain why.
Unsubscribing. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and our confirmation emails include a way to remove yourself. You can also unsubscribe by emailing privacy@manmode.app. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text.
Other U.S. states. If you live in another state with a consumer privacy law, you can make the same requests in the same way. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll respond within the time your state's law requires.
9. California "Shine the Light"
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents ask, once a year and free of charge, for information about the personal information a business has disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. To make a request, email privacy@manmode.app with "Shine the Light" in the subject line.
10. Children
ManMode is for adults. The website and early access list are intended only for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, email privacy@manmode.app and we'll delete it.
11. Security
We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. The site is served only over HTTPS, our database is encrypted at rest by our provider, access is limited to people who need it, and we collect as little as we can. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
12. Where your information is processed
ManMode is based in the United States. Our database is stored in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Health information
The website and early access list do not ask for or collect health information. Please don't include health details in contact form messages. If you do, we'll use them only to reply to you and will delete them as described above.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we'll give notice on the site, and if you're on the early access list, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
